Permission, consists of 418 individual letterpress prints each containing a single word of a larger journal entry. Inspired by Shelley Jackson’s Ineradicable Stain project, where 2095 individual words from a larger novel were tattooed on 2095 participating individuals, this is installed as a takeaway and viewers are invited to take the last print on top of the stack thus slowly diminishing the stack over time and separating the word from the context of a larger whole.
